JetCal Analyzer Test Set BH112JD-80

Repair, overhaul, and calibration of the test set manufactured by Howell Instruments. The photos show the test set in different stages of the Built-In-Test that verified proper operation. The last photo shows the condition of the units upon receipt. The rough handling of these test sets on the flight line subjects them to much damage. Many are completely inoperative. The test sets undergo a complete teardown. The units are tested to determine the failure. Repairs are accomplished on the printed circuit boards, main chassis, printer, trimmer section, and case. The cases are stripped of old chipped paint and corrosion. The cases are straightened, repainted, and re-silkscreened with new lettering.
